Arkansas Rep. Tom Cotton’s Senate campaign is pushing back on recent polls showing the Republican trailing Democratic Sen. Mark Pryor.

In an internal poll conducted for Cotton by OnMessage Inc., Cotton and Pryor are in a dead heat. It found the freshman lawmaker taking 42 percent of the vote to Pryor’s 40 percent, with 12 percent undecided.

The Cotton poll comes after an NBC/Marist poll released Monday found Pryor with an 11-point lead over Cotton, with 51 percent of voters supporting him. A New York Times/Kaiser Family Foundation poll released last month also had Pryor leading by a wide margin, 46 percent to 36 percent.

In the Cotton polling memo, pollster Wes Anderson criticized the NBC/Marist poll for sampling registered voters instead of likely voters and for under-sampling Republicans.

The internal poll surveyed 600 likely voters statewide from May 6 through May 8. Thirty-six percent of respondents were Republicans, 36 percent were Democrats and 26 percent were independents. It had a 4-point margin of error.

Pryor is considered one of the most vulnerable incumbents this cycle, but the race is expected to remain close heading into the fall. The race is rated Tilts Republican by the Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call.

7 out of the last 9 polls of the race have shown Pryor leading, 1 showed the race tied and 1 (by the dodgy Magellan) showed Cotton ahead inside the margin of error.

The best Cotton can do is an internal showing him up by 2 with a margin of error twice that?

I, too, have my own “internal” poll of the Arkansas Senate race. And just like Tom Cotton’s “internal” poll, my poll was commissioned by the Cotton campaign and has good news for the GOP Congressman.

My poll shows Tom Cotton leading Mark Pryor eleventy billion to -10.

The conservative voters of Arkansas will dump the phony moderate named Pryor and elect a true conservative named Cotton that reflects their values.

I come here almost every day to read the news like probably most people here do that I don’t have anywhere else to tell anybody so I thought I’d tell somebody here because I’m so excited about what I’ve found. Google “Emini S&P Trading Secret” these guys are really helping people learn how to trade, I never traded before in my life and now I’m making money doing and having a great time I can’t believe how much money you can actually make trading like this it’s amazing!

The ole internal poll gag, eh? No reason that that wouldn’t be effective.

THERE ARE MORE THAN 2.6 MILLION UNEMPLOYED FAMILIES WHO HAVE BEEN WITHOUT AN UNEMPLOYMENT EXTENSION BILL SINCE LAST DECEMBER. THESE FAMILIES HAVE HAD TO FACE EVICTIONS, HOME FORECLOSURES, PERSONAL BANKRUPTCY, AND HOMELESSNESS, WHILE THE POLITICIANS PLAY “PARTY POLITICS’ IN THE SENATE. THIS IS TRULY UNEXCEPTABLE. WITH SO MANY PEOPLE HURTING AND LOSING EVERYTHING, WHILE THE REPUBLICANS HOLD THE EXTENSION BILL “HOSTAGE” FOR POLITICAL LEVERAGE. HOW DARE THESE SELF-RIGHTEOUS, SELF-IMPORTANT, CAREER POLITICIANS, DENEY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. THESE WORKERS HAD FAITHFULLY PAID INTO THE SYSTEM FOR YEARS OUT OF THEIR PAYCHECKS, BELIEVING THAT HELP WOULD BE THERE FOR THEM TOO, IF THEY SHOULD NEED IT. SENATORS LIKE JOHN BOEHNER, ACT AS IF THIS MONEY BELONGS TO HIM PERSONALLY TO DISTRIBUTE AS HE WISHES. THERE WASN’T A PROBLEM WHEN CONGRESS APPROVED A FOREIGN AID PACKAGE FOR THE UKRAINE, COSTING BILLIONS OF TAX PAYER’S DOLLARS. WHY IS THAT? WHAT ABOUT AMERICANS IN NEED HERE AT HOME?
