New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte stars in the latest ad from Republican Scott P. Brown, her former Senate colleague from Massachusetts who is trying to oust Granite State Democrat Jeanne Shaheen.

Ayotte, who introduced Brown and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., at a town hall meeting in Derry, N.H., last week, speaks directly to the camera in the positive spot.

“I’m the mother of a 9-year-old and 6-year-old, and I want a better future,” Ayotte says. “And I support Scott Brown because I know he’s for fiscal responsibility, accountable government, and, finally, a healthcare plan that works for all of us.”

“He will give everything he’s got for New Hampshire,” Ayotte says.

The ad begins running Tuesday on WMUR, WBIN and cable, according to the campaign, which declined to characterize the size of the buy.

The race is rated Democrat Favored by the Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call.

Apparently Ayotte and Shaheen doesn’t have any kind of agreement about campaigning against one another. In some states that have one US Senator from both parties they have agreements not to campaign against one another. Reid and Ensign had that kind of agreement in Nevada.

Ayotte doesn’t seem to know ANYTHING about the women’s issues; Brown is further to the right than the women in Maine Collins and Snowe; he co-sponsored the Blunt amendment that would deny women’s health care…. Ayotte is the ONLY senator in New England who would not vote for background checks for gun controls…..

Boston Globe says that S. Brown “lacks gravitas”….. I would say it differently; Brown will not acknowledge the science about climate change…. I would hope readers would find the book by Tom Rand “Waking the Frog”…. Rand is a venture capitalist, entrepreneur, engineer, and philosopher and Rand explains how we are paralyzed in our inaction? Especially given the “Free market” view of corporations take all for short term profit. Rand explodes this whole theory of “free market” and why it will not be helpful in sorting out the issues on climate change. Scott Brown will never understand this and that is why I agree he is “lacking in gravitas”….

for 5 years during the worst part of the Great Recession I volunteered for the food bank and the homeless shelter for women and children. Scott Brown was on the radio and TV saying “those recovery funds don’t do any good” and in one of the highest poverty cities in Massachusetts I could see the money was being well spent on food and shelter…. Scott Brown is just repugnant……

As a New Hampshire resident and voter, the difference is this is about Senator Ayotte’s ambition, she wants to be the Senior Senator from NH. In 2010 Jeanne Shaheen did not campaign for her parties nominee other than when asked she supports to nominee of her party. Kelly Ayotte is all about Kelly Ayotte. Brown and Ayotte are two peas in pod.

Missouri has a lot of issues these days, it needs Jeanne Shaheen back to help solve them. Let’s all send her back home to Missouri.
