First Karen Handel TV Ad Features Sarah Palin

Former Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel, one of about a half-dozen Republicans running in the Peach State’s open Senate contest, will hit the airwaves Monday with a new ad that prominently features former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

The 30-second ad, which is narrated with audio from the April event where Palin endorsed Handel, will air statewide on cable and broadcast, according to Handel’s campaign.

“You know her background, you know her record, the conservative who has walked the walk cutting budgets,” Palin says of Handel in the ad.

Among the other top Republicans in the crowded field are three members of Congress and a businessman. They will all compete in a May 20 primary. If no candidate garners more than 50 percent of the vote, the race will head to a July 22 runoff.

Whoever emerges from the Republican field will likely face Democrat Michelle Nunn, the former head of the Points of Light Foundation and daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn.

The race is rated Republican Favored by Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call.

  • Gregory Williams

Karen Handel should tend to her cottage made of candy and comply with the terms of being a registered witch offender.

She is a corrupt evil minded conservative who only seeks to do harm to America and its people … her evil use of charitable organizations to conduct her own conservative hate motivated “war on women” is enough to show that she is not worthy of any elected office a fact proven by her record in elective office where the people of GEORGIA decided they would rather have the most corrupt member of congress as Governor than allow her a chance to work more evil as a chief executive of a state … and a screwed up RED one at that.

    • Margie Albano

It appears we have another libtard in full fledged melt down. The insane asylums will be doing a big business come November and again in 2016. Anyone know where we I can invest some dollars in one? It promises to be very lucrative and I would simply hate to miss out on the profits.

      • Jack Everett

You will be admitted in a straight jacket on November 3rd.

        • http://marketsharescorp.com/ Nick10

          What size do you wear?

      • Blutus

Actually you’ll probably be shot by the cops, with the other sheepf–ker seditionists.

      • northern_sentinel

Let’s take the pressure off of the insane asylums
and create something more appropriate for them, like…..
        … inane asylums.

      • http://marketsharescorp.com/ Nick10

Do you know what would John McCain say? Expletives. She deserves it.

    • Jack Everett

It’s easy to see how desperate she is when she latches onto scum like Palin.

    • http://marketsharescorp.com/ Nick10

      Go Karen!

  • Exodus2011

Karen Handel knows whom Conservative voters in GA trust ~> Sarah Palin who has, for more than FIVE YEARS withstood sustained, withering, scurrilous, personal attacks, without

    backing down
    sitting down
    falling down

personal attacks because her PRINCIPLED Conservative RECORD, and ETHICAL Leadership CANNOT be FAULTED

You malefactors in the GOPe and in the divisive, flailing, CRASHING Obamacare-STINKING DEMs are in HUGE TROUBLE

    #BeClingers ——————-> #AmericaRISING

#WAR ————–> #CrushROVERandGROVER in the Primary cycle Patriots!

    • Finetime71

Yeah, and the angel Sarah has never slung personal attacks, never initiated name calling, stuck to the issues of the day, never used elementary soundbites, offered numerous alternatives to policy matters under debate, and has completed a term in office.

      • Exodus2011

Sarah Palin resigned to free her Administration from the paralysis caused by having to defend against a never-ending flood of fear-instigated bogus ethics complaints, and to help America out of a very bad situation

she completed 3 full legislative sessions before resigning – and all her promises to the Alaskan people fulfilled in that time … you could even think of it as an athlete completing a middle distance race 1 lap ahead of all the other runners! .. , or like a person completing a 3 hour examination in only 2 hours! ….. so efficient and productive was her time as Governor

in fact what Gov Sarah Palin produced for her Alaskan constituents in 3 full legislative sessions, most Governors would not be able to deliver in two full terms!

She is a marvel …one of a kind indeed … a Gift to America by Divine Providence, in her hour of extreme need …

        **__**

        DEO GRATIAS

here she is with that other Leader who put the welfare and interests of fellow Americans before his own career … just like she did

        • Margie Albano

Ex, these paid operatives are not interested in facts. Actually the facts scare them. They are seeing the writing on the wall so give them credit for having one functioning brain cell. They recognize the power of Palin and the fact that their socialist utopia plans for America are going up in flames.

          • Blutus

Yet you’re an alien-seditionist, not us. So who’s American, and who’s not, butt-f–ker?

          • http://marketsharescorp.com/ Nick10

What would John McCain say? Expletives.

          • Half-Evil D

You’re telling a paid troll that paid operatives aren’t interested in facts? Isn’t that rather hypocritical AND ironic?

        • Half-Evil D

When Palin produced for Alaska, she did it in a Democratic / Socialistic fashion, not as the right-wing nutcase she’s become. Exactly HOW did she help America out of a bad situation? By endorsing Tea Party candidates who have done less in DC than an empty chair could accomplish? She took America from a bad situation, and helped to make it worse, so let’s all cheer for America’s Reigning Dunce!!

She is a gift to America though. I do agree with you there. Americans haven’t had a political personality so incredibly laughable in decades!!

          • Exodus2011

just studying Gov Sarah Palin’s history reveals that she is truly one-of -a-kind

I mean – the mere fact that the Palin Admin emails from her Governorship in AK are available IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN and have received full and intensive SCRUTINY is UNPRECEDENTED

which other Leader could withstand such a BLOWTORCH?

HA! … the answer is NOBODY

(Romney *destroyed* the harddrives from his tenure as Governor in MA remember … as did Huckabee)

Hey – won’t it be GREAT if after this terrible oppressive period in America’s history, We The People DEMAND that any future Candidate for POTUS not only make available ALL their personal documents for scrutiny but ALSO THEIR ADMINISTRATION EMAILS!

            LOL x 1000!

now, won’t that be **upsetting**? **__**

After the terrible corruption of this Obama Regime is fully exposed Americans will be crying out for TRANSPARENCY in Governance …. the only thing that will be able to restore the Public Trust

          • http://marketsharescorp.com/ Nick10

In 2008 VP unprepared, newcomer Sarah Palin brought down his chances to win the presidential election. The two don’t see each any more. She is a bad comedy gift. .

          • Half-Evil D

Indeed she is. She gets asked puff piece questions by Katie Couric, and still ends up looking like a deer in the headlights. She is where she is because of McCain, his campaign team, and her own team of writers. the funny thing is,whenever Palin makes a statement on Facebook, one can easily tell whether it came from her or from one of her team.

      • Jack Everett

And never finished a job either.

      • Half-Evil D

Palin is definitely a hypocrite, yett she’ll never be able to spell it:)

          “yett”

          LOL

    • Half-Evil D

As long as the Alaskan Airhead can continue fleecing rubes for their hard-earned money, there’s no reason for her to back away, is there?

Conservatives will continue to give to SarahPAC because they get a great return on their investment (see 2010 Landslide, see THE CRUZ MISSILE! woohooooooo!)

and also, buying her books DVDs etc keeps Big Mama Grizzly prominent in the Media FIGHTING for the values and causes that Conservative Americans CHERISH

        go go go Palin family!

        YEAH

btw – Here is a pic from late last year of @SarahPalinUSA in Monroe LA signing her book #GoodTidingsAndGreatJoy -Does she look RADIANT or what!!? **__** pic.twitter.com/0Bg7YUuJL5

        • Half-Evil D

A picture of Palin signing copies of a book that was ghost-written for her, as are all books with Palin’s name on them. makes sense, since most of what she has accomplished was in fact done by others, with her taking credit for their work. Maybe Palin can write a coloring book someday, as that seems to be just about the right level of creativity for her.

The only think the Cruz Missile will accomplish is to torpedo whoever ends up buying the 2016 GOP nomination, and mistakenly chooses him as their running mate. Even his owners, the Koch brothers, aren’t willing to put their billions behind him in a Presidential race. He almost got them in big trouble when he helped shut the government down last year.

          • Exodus2011

(two more replies for this blog needed too – thanks!)

Gov Sarah Palin has had Obama’s measure since before he was elected in 2008; she knew his weak equivocating over the Russian invasion of Georgia back in 08 could encourage Putin to waltz into Crimea in the future, should he be elected ,…… boy, was she RIGHT

and that’s not the only instance which has found Sarah Palin prescient wrt Obama’s decision-making ..

Sarah Palin ~> RIGHT on INFLATION, ARAB SPRING, DEATH PANELS, RARE EARTH MINERALS, COMMON CORE

right on Obama tying gun-grabbing to his Obamacare BULLSCHMIDT Bill

            ~> she’s ALWAYS correct!

Sarah Palin has displayed sound judgement, CORRECTLY predicting the consequences of decisions taken, especially by Obama .. over and over again …

Who else in leadership has demonstrated such remarkable accuracy in this realm?

            Answer: – NOBODY

America desperately needs a Commander-in-Chief with DEMONSTRABLE sound judgement …

          • Half-Evil D

You keep claiming that Palin has predicted this or that, when it’s obvious to most that it’s just not true, not to mention that Palin’s ACA / gun regulation claim has already been proven to be, just like her asinine death panel claim, completely false.

You still haven’t said how much you get paid to be one of her paid trolls. Are you afraid of getting banned for admitting it?

          • northern_sentinel

How dense does one have to be to not see that there are necessarily death panels inherent in Obamacare?
At least as dense as you Half-Wit D(for dense).

          • Half-Evil D

The way you started out with nothing but single syllable words, I thought you might actually be Sarah Palin:)

Unless you get all of your news from extreme conservative sources, you would have already realized that the “death panel” claims made by Palin and Bachmann, aka 2 dingbats that sum up the Tea Party perfectly, have been proven false time and time again, yet, please, by all means, continue buying the BS that these idiots are trying to feed you.

          • Exodus2011

I forgot the pic that truly depicts the sound judgement trait:

          • Dave

If you think a picture can demonstrate someone’s “sound judgment trait” [sic] then you’ve pretty much demonstrated you’re a starry-eyed FanBoy who’s otherwise clueless about real leadership.

Was that picture taken before or after she quit halfway through her first term as governor so she could fleece the Fox viewership by peddling books and other dross?

          • Exodus2011

            goes with a previous post

I’ll repeat it for ya … psb

            here ya go davey-boy!

Sarah Palin has been CORRECT in her judgement of future consequences, wrt the decision-making of Leaders, especially Obama, REPEATEDLY …

This character and intellectual trait, the ability to JUDGE what future consequences will be, ACCURATELY, is *the* most important personal quality for a President of The United States and Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful Military Forces in the world, to have …

Big Mama Grizzly clearly HAS THIS QUALITY

          • Blutus

Ignore Exodus, Dave. She’s an alien-seditionist from NZ who’s trying to incite a takeover of our government by foreigners like Cruz. She’s the antithesis of Reagan, conservativism, Constitutionalism, and morals. She is — literally — a butt-sex-crazed lunatic.

          • northern_sentinel

Actually she fought against her own party in Alaska, exposing Republican corruption. If you think she works for or is supported by the Republican elite/power brokers, you are woefully misinformed.

          • Half-Evil D

Actually, the investigation was done by federal agencies, and Palin had nothing to do with their investigation and subsequent arrests.

The “Corrupt Bastards Club” refers to a group of Alaska lawmakers who were brought up on charges of bribery, conspiracy and extortion for their connections with Veco Corp., an oil field services and construction contractor, between 2006 and 2008. A number of the people involved, including former state Rep. Tom Anderson and former state Rep. Vic Kohring, were sentenced to serve time in prison. But it wasn’t Palin’s office that led the investigation that resulted in several lawmakers and executives being put away. The federal investigation was headed by the FBI, along with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service.

          • http://marketsharescorp.com/ Nick10

            She’s showing the wrong finger.

          • Half-Evil D

Big mama grizzlies have taken dumps that weigh far more than Palin does these days. Meth is causing her to waste away quickly, except for her implants, of course. She’s looking older than Hillary these days. How much longer until her face lift completely collapses?

          • northern_sentinel

          • northern_sentinel

            Hell even Bill agrees…

NEW YORK (SR) – Former President Bill Clinton said Monday he understands why Sarah Palin is so popular.

Speaking to reporters before his Clinton Global Initiative meeting, the former president described Palin’s appeal by saying, “I come from Arkansas, I get why she’s hot out there. She’s well-spoken and attractive, nice lips. For me it’s those big, soft, pouty lips that seem to say ‘I can handle anything you can throw at me,’ I really like that.”

Clinton went on to say voters would think “I like that little Down syndrome kid. They’re wonderful children.” He added, “I’ll tell you one thing, I wouldn’t mind being that little baby, especially at feeding time, if you know what I mean.”

The Global Initiative, a project of Clinton’s foundation, will hold its four-day annual meeting in Manhattan starting Tuesday.

The only sounds Palin is capable of judging comes from her tiny brain rattling around in her head. Her ad for Handel speaks of electing someone who who will do what they said they would do. I must have missed the part of Palin’s campaign for governor where she promised to become a right-wing nutcase halfway through her term, and then quit. Did she ever make those promises, or is this just another shining example of Snowbank Snooki’s hypocrisy on display?

Nobody understands what she is saying or why

I think people understand what she says. And I think we understand why she says it. But we can’t understand why, as a college graduate, she can’t say it correctly:

Sarah Palin: “Our vets and those who are supportive of our vets
which, to me, is very symbolic of all that really matters in this
country at this point, the priorities in our government.”

Sarah Palin: “I want to help clean up the state that is so sorry today of journalism…And I have a communications degree.”

Let’s be clear; the stakes for Georgia couldn’t be higher. We are faced with a Marxist in the White House, with an administration who dare not oppose him, and seems all too willing to carry out his socialist agenda. Even in Congress, few are willing to stand and fight, or stop the spending, or even level with their own constituents. If these were ordinary times, Karen Handel would be an excellent choice to step into the fray. But these are far from ordinary times. Georgians need to elect someone to the US Senate who has shown, unequivocally, will not only stand his ground, but stand and fight for that ground.

The only person who has done this time and time again, to the point where the entire political establishment of both political parties are frightened to death of this man standing up for Georgians on the floor of the Senate is Dr. Paul Broun.

I say this with complete candor because Dr. Broun is the only presently serving US House of Representatives who stood up to its Speaker: John Boehner, and supported his removal when Boehner failed to support the termination of Obamacare last October. In these times of uncertainty, Dr. Broun has proven he will stand and fight for what right for Georgians and what is right for the Republic of the United States.

Marxist? Socialist? What country do you live in?

      • David Farrar

In presently live in a country whose leaders have taken away our rights even to choose our on primary caregivers, and who, should Ms Nunn finds her way into the US Senate, will give this country’s birthright away to at least 20 million illegal aliens.

Yes, it’s morally repugnant that some of our taxes are being used to provide healthcare to people that can’t otherwise afford it. We should allow the healthcare companies to charge whatever rates they like and deny coverage to anyone they like. We must defend the rights of corporations like healthcare providers to make the highest amount of profit they possibly can.

    • VinnieF

Yes, we need to defend the rich capitalists like Mitt Romney against those that might demand crazy things, like they pay the same tax rate that the rest of us do. If you’re not arguing for reduced corporate taxes and reduced taxes on the rich, then you’re a Marxist.

    • KarenJ

Paul Broun is a fundamentalist End-Timer delusional fanatic.

Hard to imagine such a highly educated man forswore all that education to say something as ignorant as “All that stuff I was taught about evolution and embryology and the big bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of Hell. It’s lies to try to keep me and all the folks who were taught that from understanding that they need a savior.”

A truly educated man with personal faith can still accept evolution, the cosmos, etc. Not a stupid man, though.

      • David Farrar

We need to elect a senator from Georgia who says what he believes, upfront, and will support what he says even in the face of special interest’s financial pressure to change, not for their religious believes.

“…hit the airwaves Monday with a new ad that prominently features former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.” Huh?

What will John McCain think about this? In 2008 VP unprepared, newcomer Sarah Palin brought down his chances to win the presidential election. The two don’t see each any more.

    • Jack Everett

McCain didn’t pick Palin for a running mate his handlers did. Palin has all the qualities of a vampire sucking the last drop of blood out of it’s shriveled up victim. Palins only agenda is quitting. She quit the mayors job, she quit the governors job. Palin’s motto; when the going gets tough QUIT!

      • Half-Evil D

One can only wonder what McCain’s team saw in the decade’s worth of tax returns given to them by Mitt Romney, who was being vetted as the VP candidate, that would make them decide to completely torpedo any chances they had by selecting Palin instead.

      • http://marketsharescorp.com/ Nick10

I know McCain didn’t choose her. Agrred.

The jury below has spoken. Bye. Bye.

  • View From The Left

Palin states in the commercial, “How often do you see that in government where somebody actually gets in there and does what they tell they people who hire them that they’ll do, they actually fulfill promises….” like serving out their entire term.
    Fixed.

    • RUexperienced

No kidding. Who is Palin to talk about politicians doing what they are elected to do?

      • Guest

Sarah Palin was a sitting governor, and at that time, before the Obama campaign and their allies in the press spent months relentlessly smearing her good name, she had the highest approval ratings of any governor in the country. Sarah held progressively higher office; she has many years executive management experience at local, regional and state levels and has a history of being a reformer and taking on powerful interests for the benefit of ordinary people.

She was a fiscal conservative who made the largest veto cuts in Alaska history, reined in the reckless waste, cut her own expenses, sold the governor’s private jet, let the personal chef go, and put away billions of dollars in savings for Alaska for a rainy day.

She was a tough CEO who went toe to toe with the Big Oil companies and fought to get the best deal for Alaskans, the resource owners she represented.

Taking on corruption and crony capitalism has always been a cornerstone of Sarah Palin’s agenda; in Alaska she did take on the old-boy network — the oil companies and her own party .As oil and gas commissioner, Sarah Palin called out the unethical practices of members of her own party. As Governor, she sought to end the back room deals and improper relationships between oil companies and politicians.

And she did all of this as a woman from a modest background who was entirely self-made – without the benefit of a rich or influential father or husband. All of Sarah Palin’s success was due entirely to her own hard work and intelligence.

        • VinnieF

You can spout off all of the words you want to try and defend Sarah . Unfortunately for you, it only takes two words to counter your argument – SHE QUIT!!

  • RUexperienced

I cannot see how that screeching voice is going to draw ANY votes for Handel.

  • pitch1934

Yikes! That Palin twang hurts my ears.

  • Hans Olo

As we are seeing more today, nefarious quacks have begun to argue that there is no need to limit the power of government officials because they have been chosen through democratic processes.

  • mikeva

Two quitters in the same ad. All they need is one more shrill voice! I know. Carly Fiorina and her demon sheep would make the ad perfect.

Sarah Palin has stood her ground for the last 5 years against all the hate the media could throw at her or her family to fight for this country. She worked tirelessly to forward the commonsense conservative agenda she had always articulated and she continues her work to help put government back on the side of the people.

After the 2008 election Sarah Palin helped lead Republicans to the greatest congressional victory in several generations during the 2010 election with her endorsements and rallies all over the country. Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during the 2012 election . She campaigned for constitutional conservatives resulting in 5 conservatives being elected to the Senate and 32 conservatives to the House.

Sarah Palin has offered many statements on issues such as health care, the Federal Reserve’s money printing in funding our federal deficit, Crony Capitalism, energy independence, foreign policy, etc) She was the first Republican to make a high-profile critique of the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing, though even earlier she had marked the collapsing value of the dollar as one of her issues and has repeatedly been a leading voice against the dangers of ObamaCare and the risks of President Obama’s approach to energy.

Sarah Palin has been proven right on innumerable issues and yet the left refuses to give credit where credit is due. Whether Obamacare or IRS intimidation or common core or quantitative easing to name a few, Palin has been right and the left still refuses to listen. Now, it appears Sarah Palin was right once again.(Ukraine)

    • VinnieF

“Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during the 2012 election.”

Actually, she made a grand total of TWO campaign appearances during the primary and general elections in 2012. She donated $10K to Cruz’ campaign which raised a total of over $14 million.

Note that her ‘bus tour’ doesn’t count as efforts to help other candidates. The sole purpose of that trip, fully funded by Sarah PAC, was to keep Sarah in the news. In fact, Sarah’s activities for the last few years have been nothing but attempts to keep her in the news.

    • KarenJ

      SHE QUIT!

  • KatieAnnieOakley

Palin has only one interest nowadays, and that’s staying in the public eye via politics, so she can be featured in more reality shows and be rich and famous.
