Mitch McConnell’s Unusual Attack Video

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell unleashed his first attack Tuesday on his new Democratic opponent, Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, who announced her candidacy Monday in the Kentucky Senate race.

It’s, um, unique. We offer this Web video without any other commentary because, frankly, we don’t know what else to say about it:

McConnell is just showing what a with-it, groovy, cool, hep-cat kind of a guy he really is. Must be going after the young vote.

You know how McConnell has been talking about legalizing hemp recently? Well, it looks like he reached for the wrong plant.

Round One: Let’s sling mud at an opponent that we know nothing about other than “she’s different”. Good God, let’s hope so. A well-funded paid advertisement, from the best politician you can buy for your money.

Snarky, mean-spirited, fact-less, pointless and no doubt cost a pretty-penny to buy. Just like Mitch McConnell.

I actually found it catchy, though all that sticks is her name, over and over. I’m not sure this is what McConnell should want. And I’m not sure old folk will have the patience to to play it over and over to get what McConnell meant to communicate. I’m sure not.
