The National Republican Congressional Committee today will release a slate of 21 On the Radar candidates in its Young Guns program. The newly recognized challengers and candidates for open seats are in the bronze tier of the NRCC’s four-level fundraising and infrastructure program.
“These candidates have worked hard to meet the benchmarks that have been laid out before them and are determined to hold Washington Democrats accountable this November,” NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions (Texas) said in a statement.
The candidates are: Marcus Richmond in Arkansas; Tony Strickland and John Tavaglione in California; Chris Meek, Steve Obsitnik and Andrew Roraback in Connecticut; Adam Hasner in Florida; Rick Allen, Lee Anderson and Wright McLeod in Georgia; John Archer and Dan Dolan in Iowa; Jason Plummer in Illinois; Kevin Raye in Maine; Daniel Barry, Richard Hudson, Scott Keadle and John Whitley in North Carolina; Mark Rosen and Matt Doheny in New York; and Stephen Sandstrom in Utah.
