  • #GAsen: Will there really be two Democrats brave enough to run for Senate in Georgia in 2014? Local Democrats hope to settle on a nominee rather than a primary between Rep. John Barrow and Michelle Nunn, the daughter of former Sen. Sam Nunn, D-Ga., according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Both Democrats are considering bids to replace retiring Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss.
  • #KYSen: Rep. John Yarmuth, D-Ky., keeps talking Democrats who could challenge Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (via Louisville affiliate WDRB). Meanwhile, Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes continued to mull a bid via the Courier-Journal.
  • #IASen: Republican Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds will not run to replace retiring Democratic Sen. Tom Harkin, via NBC News. Your move (still), Rep. Steve King.
  • #SC01: Talk about return on investment: The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is raising money off former Gov. Mark Sanford’s troubled special-election bid. The committee sent a fundraising email to supporters just days after it started making independent expenditures on its nominee’s behalf.
