Former Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) ran a red light this afternoon and slammed his Mercedes-Benz into a local bus, injuring two people, according to a local Florida television station report. Grayson was not hurt, NBC affiliate WESH reported, showing video footage of him talking with a police officer near a wrecked car.

“Officers say Grayson was at fault and he will be cited,” the anchorwoman said on the news report, noting he was on his way to a fundraiser.

Grayson is running for a new Orlando-area seat in Congress and is the early favorite to win there.

Grayson’s spokesman did not immediately return a voice mail and an email tonight. An Orlando Police Department public information officer was not immediately available.

They should hire a good lawyer and sue him hard. That is how he made his millions, by being an ambulance chaser and it would only be appropriate for him to get a big dose of his own medicine. If he is truly the favorite to win, then there is little hope for Orlando. This man is not good for our government and will only play politics all day. He makes outlandish statements just to get noticed, and he has never done anything good for the country with his short service as a congress person. I would even go so far as to say he might have been the worst one there while he served and that includes the likes of Charlie Wrangle, and Nancy Pelosi. He is a divider, and it is his type that keep our government bogged down, accomplishing nothing.
