Women’s rights activist Sandra Fluke has filed paperwork with the California Democratic Party to run for Congress in the open 33rd District.

Fluke is the third Democrat to join the race to replace retiring Rep. Henry A. Waxman in this Los Angeles-based House seat. State Sen. Ted Lieu and former Los Angeles Controller Wendy Greuel announced bids last week.

Fluke rose to prominence after radio show host Rush Limbaugh called her a “slut” in 2012. At the time, Fluke was a Georgetown University Law student petitioning the school to include birth control in its student health care plans.

While she has filed paperwork to seek the state party endorsement, Fluke has yet to file federal paperwork to make her bid official.

A number of other Democrats are also considering bids for the solidly Democratic district, which President Barack Obama carried with 61 percent in 2012.

The Washington Post first reported Fluke’s plans.

California’s 33rd District is rated a  Safe Democratic contest by Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call.

Californians are drug addled and stupid enough to elect her too.

This witch’s only claim to fame is that she cannot afford to support her sexual proclivities and thinks you should pay for it because all her money goes to an over-priced and underperforming university.
It is a lie that republicans are against ‘birth control’, although some are. Most republicans are against being forced to pay for abortions and for Plan B which is strangely classified as ‘Birth Control’. The left will never be happy until they can coerce everyone to be guilty of killing babies.

    Except she isn’t running.

She said at the time that she filed the party paperwork that she was only doing it to meet a state party deadline to be considered – and that she was still undecided on an actual run. ATR missed that part of the story and went ahead with a claim that she was running.
